FATIMA Spirituality-Visits to the Blessed Sacrament

February 6, 2017

(Great to include for your First Saturday Devotion)

By John Preiss

Pardon Prayer

My God, I believe, I adore, I trust, and I love thee! I beg

pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not

trust, and do not love thee.

Dear Sweet Jesus You allowed Your Blessed Mother to appear to three shepherd children at Fatima Portugal help us to be like these little children as we grow humbly to adore You more and more in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

*Glory Be to the Father

The Angel’s Prayer

With the Blessed Sacrament suspended in the air, the angel at Fatima prostrated

himself, and recited the prayer:

O most Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—I

adore thee profoundly. I offer thee the most Precious Body,

Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ—present in all the

tabernacles of the world—in reparation for the outrages,

sacrileges, and indifference by which He is offended. By the

infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate

Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners.

Dear Sweet Jesus thank you for being truly present for us in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Help our love to grow deeper for You as we long for Heaven.  Also, we offer this moment with You for the conversions of sinners throughout the world and the poor souls in purgatory.

*Glory Be to the Father

Eucharistic Prayer

This prayer stresses that most beautiful truth—that the all-powerful, all-loving God

is upon the altar at every Catholic Mass.

Most Holy Trinity, I adore You! My God, my God, I love You

in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

My Sweet Jesus,  I believe that You  are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.

I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment  receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart.  I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.  Never permit me to be separated from You.

*Glory Be to the Father

Sacrifice Prayer

Our Lady taught the children a prayer to be said when they would have something

to offer up to God... such as some suffering, or an act contrary to what they wanted

to do but which was necessary in order to please God.

(Insert your special intentions for this visit)

O my Jesus, it is for love of You, in reparation for the offenses

committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and for the

conversion of poor sinners.

Dear Sweet Jesus, we love you and we ask that you watch and protect our families.  I know that many sins have been committed against you and the Immaculate Heart of Your Blessed Mother.  Today, I ask that you touch the hearts of those who offend You and Your Mother and for my special intentions mentioned above....

*Glory Be to the Father

Decade Prayer

Our Lady asked that the following prayer be inserted after each decade of the Rosary:

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins; save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls into Heaven, especially those who are in most need of thy mercy.

Dear Sweet Jesus, our ultimate goal is to be with you and Your Mother for all eternity.  Help us in this life on our journey home.  We are all broken in one way or another, have mercy on us and grant us the grace to love you more and more.  I know you are truly present in the Blessed Sacrament, help me to grow in my love for you and Your Mother.
