Step 1: Daily Rosary
The Blessed Mother appeared at Fatima in 1917 and asked that the Rosary be prayed every day for peace and for the conversion of sinners. This simple yet profound prayer brings us back again and again to the life of Christ and His Mother, helping us draw spiritual strength and guidance for daily living.
How to Live This Step
Set a Specific Time: Choose a consistent time each day—morning, evening, or even during your commute—to pray the Rosary. Routine helps make this devotion a natural part of your daily life.
Offer Each Decade for Intentions: As you pray each decade, dedicate it to a specific intention such as peace in the world, your family, the Church, or those in need. This practice personalizes your prayer and connects it to real needs.
Reflect on the Mysteries: The Rosary is structured around the mysteries—events in the lives of Jesus and Mary. As you meditate on each mystery, let it shape your actions and attitudes throughout the day, drawing lessons and inspiration for your own life.
Pray with Simplicity or Depth: While a full Rosary takes about 15–25 minutes, even praying a single decade with devotion is valuable if you’re pressed for time.
How to Pray the Rosary
Begin with the Sign of the Cross.
Pray the Apostles’ Creed.
On the first bead, pray the Our Father.
On the next three beads, pray three Hail Marys (for faith, hope, and charity).
Pray the Glory Be.
Announce the first mystery and pray the Our Father.
On each of the next ten beads, pray a Hail Mary while meditating on the mystery.
After ten Hail Marys, pray the Glory Be and the Fatima Prayer (“O my Jesus, forgive us our sins…”).
Repeat for the remaining four decades, each with its own mystery.
Conclude with the Hail Holy Queen and the final prayer.
Connection to C.A.R.E.
The daily Rosary is more than a routine; it is a way to keep your heart centered on Christ and His Mother. This focus prepares the soul for deeper participation in the Eucharist and Adoration, forming a foundation for a life of charity, adoration, reparation, and evangelization (C.A.R.E.).

“Praying the Rosary daily, as Our Lady requested, allows us to enter into union with the divine plan of our salvation—a plan that promises peace in our hearts, peace in our families, and peace in the world.”
By embracing this first step, you respond to the Blessed Mother’s invitation and open yourself to the graces that flow from meditating on the mysteries of Christ. The Rosary becomes a spiritual anchor, guiding your actions and deepening your relationship with God.
