In these difficult economic times many people are struggling in their daily life to follow Christ. We must say to Our Lord constantly throughout the day, "Jesus I Trust in You." In this issue we have focused on the Fatima Family prayer groups. At the Fatima Family Center we have received many calls this past quarter on how to start a FFA prayer group. It is exciting to see the response because FFA prayer groups are simple to start. So, please read the article. Also in this issue we have an article about the alliance of the two hearts. It is written by our former theological advisor Father John Hardon.
The Fatima evening in Alabama was a great success and we are already looking forward to the next one on October 13th. Please make plans and try to attend this event. We have a new program started by Tim Burns, our Store Manager, and it is the Fatima Family prison ministry. Tim wrote an article in this issue about his experience and it is a much needed ministry. To start your own prison ministry, you can find out more information on our website: www.fatimafamily.org. We have added a kid's corner for the children to further our mission for children.
Exciting things are happening at the Fatima Family Center. We have just finished an outdoor pro-life shrine with images of the different stages of the baby's growth in the womb. Also a large statue of the Mother of God with the child Jesus is placed in the center of this shrine. If you know of someone planning a pilgrimage to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, please inform them of the Fatima Family Center. Or if you would like us to help you form a pilgrimage to Alabama we will be glad to help. Just give us a call at 1-800-213-5541 and ask for Tim and we will help you with direction, lodging, and travel. There are many sites to see on the grounds of the Fatima Family Center. We have a 14ft Crucifix, a large statue of the Holy Family, and a large statue of Our lady of Grace. Additionally, we also have a large Fatima shrine and our newly dedicated pro-life shrine. Inside our store we have CD's, DVD's and many books and Catholic gifts and artwork. Also in the Father Robert J. Fox conference room we have three of Father Fox's most beautiful vestments on display and many of his personal items including the Chalice he received from his family at his ordination.
Please continue to pray for us and to help us promote the Apostolate and the Immaculate Heart Messenger Magazine. Many Catholic publications are struggling to make ends meet. If you would like to send us a donation you can go on our website or just simply send us a check in the mail. Your donation will help us to continue to build up the Fatima Center and to grow our evangelizing efforts. The FFA is growing in many ways and your help is greatly appreciated. In closing I would like to ask all of you to pray for the soul of Lorenz Fox, who passed away at the age of 83 in South Dakota. Lorenz is Father Fox's brother and he was the last living member of the Fox family. Also, pray for his wife Fran.
